How Handsmith Works:
People who need a prosthetic hand but are not eligible through insurance or cannot afford one on their own can apply to Handsmith to begin the process. We ask that all applicants contribute at least some amount to the make their new bionic hand to help bring more hands to more people. Handsmith will cover the rest of the cost by drawing from our available funding.
Handsmith will work with Lyman Connor to create 3D printed bionic hands and provide them to your local prosthetics company for proper fitting.
